1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of ParadoxAI (the “Service”), operated by Nixtre Technologies Ltd. (“Nixtre”, “we”, “us”), a software company based in New York, NY, United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does, and what it does not

ParadoxAI helps you examine media and claims, gather supporting sources, and produce a report you can review. It is an analysis tool for trained human judgment.

The Service does not produce proof. Its findings are indicators, not verdicts. A result saying no manipulation was detected does not establish that material is authentic, and a result flagging concerns does not establish that anyone acted deceptively. Findings are uncalibrated, can be wrong in both directions, and depend on what evidence was available to examine.

You are responsible for any decision you make. Do not rely on the Service alone for any consequential decision, including publication, legal proceedings, employment, or any action affecting a person’s rights, safety, reputation or livelihood. Seek independent corroboration.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at admin@nixtre.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Accounts are for a named individual and must not be shared. Access may be provisioned, suspended or removed by an administrator of your organisation, who can also review cases and conversations created under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law, or infringe anyone’s privacy, publicity, confidentiality or intellectual property rights.
• Upload material you have no right to submit, or that you obtained unlawfully.
• Harass, surveil, profile or target an individual, or build a dossier on a private person.
• Present a finding as conclusive proof, or misrepresent what the Service concluded — including by removing the stated limitations from a report.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the Service, evade usage limits, or scrape it by automated means without written permission.
• Resell or sublicense access without a written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of this section, where practical with notice.

5. Your material

You keep all rights in the material you submit. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the Service for you: to store, process, analyse and display that material, and to generate reports from it.

We do not sell your material. We do not use it to train models for other customers. Where an analysis depends on an external provider, only what is needed for that step is sent, and the provider processes it under its own terms — which can include keeping it for a limited period for abuse and security monitoring. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to submit material, particularly where it contains personal data or depicts identifiable people.

6. Availability, limits and changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, upgrades and provider outages can interrupt analysis in progress, and an interrupted analysis may need to be resubmitted.

Usage limits — including daily request quotas, upload size and storage — apply and may change. We may modify or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will give at least 30 days’ notice.

7. Plans and payment

Plans and credit packages are agreed with us directly and described when they are arranged. Unless stated otherwise, fees are in US dollars, exclusive of tax, and non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

Credits are used as work is performed, and an investigation that fails is credited back automatically. A monthly package resets to its full allowance each month, counted from the day it started; unused credits do not carry over. A one-time package lasts until its stated end date.

You can cancel at any time by writing to admin@nixtre.com. Your package stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and does not renew after that.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. We do not warrant that any finding is correct, complete or suitable for your purpose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or reputation, or for any decision taken in reliance on a finding. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use the Service as a consumer, the law where you live may give you rights that cannot be limited by contract; these terms do not affect them.

9. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service stops immediately. Export anything you need first — see the retention section of the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in New York County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live.

Before starting any proceedings, please write to admin@nixtre.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter informally.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
